Something new (finally)

All of you that know me know I hate to make cards. They just don't thrill me or give me the satisfaction scrapbooking gives me.
But, I had to make some this last week for a guest DT spot and while I was at it, I decided to use the scraps to make a very dear friend a card.
The picture doesn't show it's true color, it's much cuter IRL and not near as shiny. I'm not a huge fan of my work but I really do think this card is cute in person.
I used:
Colorbox Pheasant Gold & Chestnut Roan chalk ink
Heidi Swapp "Cherish" stamp
Paisley stamps by the Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby's brand of stamps)
Kraft paper and green textured cardstock
CTMH "Liquid Glass"
And lastly - the cute stuff - stacked flowers from the Dollar Tree!! JB picked them up for me at her Muncie store about a month ago. Love them! And, they were a buck!! :)

One of my buddies will be getting this card SOON :)
TFL!

Bless your heart! I am so glad that someone else prefers scrapping over card making. It can take me as long to do a card as a LO! Your work is wonderful. I'm glad you're making cards - misery loves company! LOL

((hugs and thanks for the sweet comments you left for me))
